Nike Quickie

Some quick updates about Nike:

They just received recognition for the most climate friendly companies. So I guess Nike really took to heart the Green movement which is good. They have also developed an eco friendly shoe that was pioneered by Phoenix Suns Guard Steve Nash. The shoe uses elements recycled from within the factory. So they have a green thumbs up from me, and many environmentalists. Lets see if this influences their sales.

Perhaps bringing back 2015 Nike mag from Back to the Future II. You guys remember the shoe that Marty Mcfly wore when he went to the future? He got them in a custom case and they featured self tying laces. There is even a website inviting people to sign a petition to coax Nike into making the shoe.

Also:

It seems Long Beach officers have confiscated 18,560 pairs of counterfeit Nike’s coming out of China. If they were actual Nike’s they would be worth $2.6 million. Authorities said the shoes will be destroyed. Too bad they are recycling them. Port Authorities said most fakes seized out of China are Nike’s. So if you bought your Nike Kicks from a bodega or the internet you might be sporting fake Kicks. Which is the #1 Sin of Kicks Aficionado’s.
